The process of grief is a natural one. Although the loss of a loved one is never easy, it can be made more bearable by sharing the burden with others. At Seton we are here to help you on your journey.
If you need to discuss and vent your feelings to people who understand in a non-judgmental environment or find solace in seeking help from the Lord, we are here for you. Don't go through grief alone.
We have several grief support groups to help you at whatever stage of grief you may be at.
This is a group that you come to as you can. If you’ve suffered the loss of a loved one and don’t feel ready yet to commit to a weekly series then this group is for you. We meet once a month on the 4th Thursdays, and meetings alternate each month between meeting in the morning from 10:00am-11:30am and meeting in the evening from 6:30pm - 8:00pm
The topic for the next meetings will be as follows
Indeed He Is!
|Learning how to seek out the life that comes through suffering.|
Thursday, April 27, 2017, 6:30pm-8:00pm
in room 108 of the Faith Formation Center
You do not have to register for the monthly meetings, just come as you need.
For upcoming month's topics see the subpage in the menu on the right side of this page.
With the support of the faith community, we can give voice to our unique journeys of grief and find healing and spiritual growth. Seasons of Hope sessions help us explore mourning through scripture, prayer, reflection activities and faith sharing. Seasons of Hope is centered on Jesus Christ and grounded in the healing wisdom, traditions, and practices of the Catholic Church. This is a 6 week series offered several times a year. Please see the menu to the right of this page for Season of Hope to learn more about the weekly series and when they are offered or to regester.
