Stewardship of Talent
Living Your Strengths
Harness the power of your innate gifts and live
a heroic life using your gifts as God intended.
As Catholics, we rely on the Word of God and live it out in His Church through the sacraments. The gift of His grace is offered to us with a challenge: Can we harness our own gifts and talents as individuals and as a community to make the “good news” live in our hearts and in our community?
We are all trying to decipher the meaning of the mystery “Who am I really?”
The gifts that God has given to you He has given to no other -
you are unique in the entire universe.
Living Your Strengths (LYS) sets a foundation for growth based upon an assessment of one’s God-given talents and helps identify how to live God’s plan for your life. By accepting the gifts of God you will lead a life of right decisions, peace of mind and harmony with others in your life.
LYS helps you to understand what God has given you by the grace in which you have been born and baptized, and to identify your role in energizing and shaping the Church.
Do you ever ask yourself:
- What am I to do next?
- Why did I react that way?
- Why do I love doing some things and avoid doing others?
- Do you feel disconnected from your Church lately?
- Do you struggle with what God’s plan for your life is?
- Are you a passionate parishioner who wants to become even more involved and be an inspiration to others?
LYS seminars will show you how to identify your unique God-given gifts and how to begin using them to enrich your life (home & work) and that of your parish.
“For as with the human body which is a unity all though it has many parts all the parts of the body, though many, still making up one single body, so it is with Christ.”
The Apostle Paul
Every parish member plays a role in energizing
and shaping the Church.
Join us for this inspiring session and begin to live the life God intended for you!
** Registrants will need to purchase the Living Your Strengths book, read the introduction, and take the online assessment prior to the Seminar - the book is available in the Parish Office for $15. **
