ACTS is an acronym for Adoration, Community, Theology, and Service.
The purpose of an ACTS weekend is to provide an opportunity for retreatants to develop a deeper relationship with the Lord and fellow parishoners through Adoration and daily prayer; through Community in one’s parish as a member of the Body of Christ; through Theology or the teachings of our Catholic faith by encouraging more study and to instill a virtue of Service to our Lord, our parish and each other.
ACTS Core Team meetings are open to the ACTS community. They occur on the 4th Thursday of each month at 7pm in the Faith Formation Center, usually in Room 110.

An ACTS retreat allows men and women to focus on his or her faith and its application in daily life, to build purpose in his or her prayer life, to increase their presence at the liturgy and to cultivate friendships with other men and women of faith.
The ACTS retreat is a three-day, three-night retreat presented by Catholic lay men and women. The retreat begins on a Thursday evening with check-in at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish Hall. You are encouraged to bring family members and friends to see you off. Transportation will be provided to and from the retreat center.
Spiritual direction will be provided throughout the retreat.
The weekend concludes on Sunday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton with the 12:00 Mass. Immediately following the Mass, retreatants will share in food and fellowship with their families and other members of the parish community.
Cost
The cost for each retreatant is $225. This covers all meals and lodging. A $100 registration deposit should be submitted with this form to reserve your place. The remaining balance is due on Thursday at Check-in. Please do not let the cost of the retreat prevent you from participating.
Please note all faith denominations are welcomed. Must be age 21 or older.
If you have any questions, please call the Faith Formation Office.
Go and teach all nations, says the Lord; I am with you always,
until the end of the world.

Father, we come together as a community of faith seeking your guidance in our lives. We ask that you continue to bless and nurture the ACTS movement as it continues to flourish. We seek your guidance for members of our core team, retreat teams, past retreatants, and those that are discerning the call to participate in upcoming retreats. May we remain open to your Spirit and continue to live the tenants of the ACTS movement.
Adoration of your presence in our world, to build
Community, to learn more about you through practicing sound
Theology, as we work to spread the gospel through
Service to the people in our parish, communities, and all of the environments that we encounter.
We give thanks and praise for bringing the ACTS movement to us and for allowing it to continue to grow in the Catholic Community of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.
Amen
