Art and Environment

This ministry oversees both the seasonal decoration of the Church for liturgy and the larger questions of the art and architectural surroundings, furnishings, lighting, vestments and vessels, and devotional spaces in the place where our community worships.

Attention is also paid to the invitational qualities of the exterior of the Church and its surroundings.

Much of the actual work (preparing seasonal environment, selection of materials and art, care and storage of materials) is done by members of the committee and many other volunteers. There are no set meeting days. Schedules are sent out twice a year with dates and times listed for actual days of preparation.
