2. On the App – Use QuickScreen - Answer the pre-screening questions prior to your appointment.
   • Use Only on the Day of the Drive!
   • If a donor experiences problems using QuickScreen on their mobile device, refer to help desk at 877-351-3500.
3. Bring a VALID ID and Eat a Healthy Meal & Hydrate!
4. Donors will need to Wear a Mask, if you don’t have one, our staff will provide one for you.

We have taken steps to keep you and our team safe. Masks will be worn at all times, we're performing additional sanitizing between donors, and you'll have room to observe social distancing. Here is a more complete list of the precautions we will be taking:

1. Social Distancing: Implementation of separated drive set up to allow as much distance as possible between donors and capacity of donors in blood drive space.
2. Enhanced Disinfecting: 

1. Hand Sanitizer will be available at check-in, also at Health History and Refreshment areas.
2. Blood Donors will be asked to use hand sanitizer prior to using tablets and laptops.
3. Donor Beds will be sanitized between each and every Donor.

3. Pre-Donation Donor Temperature Screening:

1. All Donors will be asked to have their temperature taken.
2. If a Donor has a temperature greater than 99.5 they will be asked to come back to donate when they are healthy and they will have to leave the Drive.
3. Non-donors will be asked to wait outside and not enter the Blood Drive.

4. Staff Wellness and Protection:

1. All staff will wear gloves and masks through the entire blood drive, changing gloves between each and every blood Donor.
2. Our Donors will be asked to wear a Mask and given one if they do not have one with them starting June 1^st, 2020. 

5. Blood Donor Deferrals:

1. If a Donor has had contact with a person who has or is suspected to have the Virus will be automatically deferred.

6. On-going Efforts:

1. Carter BloodCare is focused on COVID-19 safety measures and we will continue to work with health agencies and partners to evaluated all emerging risks to ensure safety and availability of our blood supply for patients in need. 

7. Increased Educational Materials:

1. Donor information material on COVID-19 is available to all Donors at every Blood Drive and on our Web Site.
