This decree addresses the implementation of Phase Two. The highlight of this phase is public weekday Masses (Monday through Friday) may continue on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. These weekday Masses are limited to one Mass per day per parish at 25% of building capacity. Safety protocols will be in place, including wearing face masks, social distancing and using hand sanitizer.
Good News! This Sunday, May 10th, we will begin opening our church for the some new opportunities, and services including reconciliation, adoration and private prayer in the church, and open columbarium hours. Please practice safety protocols.
The Diocese of Dallas has released a decree outlining the way in which its 77 churches will incrementally open to welcome back the 1.3 million Catholics in the 9 counties it serves. The Diocese of Dallas will begin the process of opening in phases, allowing for the ability to re-evaluate the process as necessary in order to ensure the health and safety of the community. This process will occur in four phases, with each phase building upon the last.

We are actively praying and discerning as to what the spring game plan might look like concerning faith formation sessions, 1st Communion, Confirmation, etc. There are many meetings taking place down at the Diocese and in our own parish. The leaders of our communities have sounded the alarm and now this shepherd is going to protect his flock. Effective immediately, the Catholic Diocese of Dallas will suspend all public masses until March 30, 2020. Our churches will remain open during the day for private prayer and Eucharistic adoration, but all Sunday masses and weekday masses are cancelled.
