The Good News Gang
The Good News Gang

Faith Formation CenterThe Good News Gang is a casual- not heavily structured class that uses videos, light reading and group discussion as a means of increasing our faith and sharing the "Good News" of the Bible. The class of men and women of mixed ages is conveniently scheduled from 10:00am - 11:30am on Sunday mornings, after the 8:00am Mass, and before the 12:00pm Mass. Class members are invited to bring a light breakfast for themselves if they wish. We will be meeting in Room 110 of the Faith Formation Center.

Sunday Mornings
9:15am - 9:50am in the Seton Faith Formation Center, Room 107/109Open to all parishioners (0-100+ years of age)
Facilitators guide the class through the Gospel reading of the week.
We use At Home With the Word which can be purchased for $10.00 at any time throughout the year.
This is the perfect class for those who may not be able to attend a Bible Study on a regular basis. Come when you can!
We also offer the option to Zoom into our classes.

Wednesday Women of the Word
Wednesday Mornings, 9:30am-11:30am
Room 107/109 in the SFFCThis group has been in existence for over 30 years. Our gathering format is cooperative discussion and faith sharing, usually after watching an instructional DVD by Bible scholars on the topics of the relevant chapters which have been read ahead of time. Within this format, we visit and enjoy fellowship, great discussions, and snacks and coffee. This is also an opportunity to get to know and build lasting and supportive relationships with other women of our Seton faith community. Whether a beginner to Scripture study or a seasoned student, all adult women of the parish are welcome to join us on this faith journey.

Tuesday Evening Scripture Study

We are a friendly group that enjoys studying the Bible and our Catholic faith. Our objective is to;- Understand the Bible in proper context in order to understand and grow in our faith as Catholic Christians. By using aids such as the Catechism and Catholic study Bibles, we seek to understand scripture in light of the living tradition of the church.
- Provide and environment where we take this time of fellowship to encourage each other in our faith, and share our burdens with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
We strive to present the material in a way that someone with no prior Bible study experience can benefit, as well as persons with a detailed background in Bible studies and faith formation training.
We offer the added benefit of Zoom streaming the class live from our classroom in a way that all of the participants on Zoom can clearly see and communicate with every member in the live classroom.
We periodically meet for Dinners and other live events to get to know one another outside of class. It is also a good way of introducing spouses who are not in the class to get to know our class members.
