St. Elizabeth Ann Seton "31" Club is a member group sponsored by the SERRA Club of North Central Dallas SERRA Club. The purpose of the club is to promote vocations and one of the ways we do this is through prayer. There is now better way to pray than through the Mass.
The SEAS "31"club is a great club, no dues, no meetings and no communications. The only requirement is to select a date (1st through 31st) and each month on that date you attend Mass to pray for vocations, our current priests and seminarians, and the religious brothers and sisters. You do this every month for the next year. If you can't make it on your chosen date in a particular month, not to worry, you can pick another day that same month to attend Mass and pray for vocations. The idea is to have someone in the club praying for vocations every day of the year.
In 2010 when we started our club, there were 43 men in the 9 year formation program. This past September 12 men joined the seminary and the total in the program now is 62, almost a 45% increase. Fr. John Szatkowski requested our prayers when he was here last year because they do work. In addition to this increase, we had 15 priests ordained in the last 5 years.
You can make a difference!
We want you to join our efforts.
